Default Hull ID Number

I recently bought a 1975 seacraft with a cuddy cabin. All I have is a picture, a length (23) and a hull ID number. Tried talking to a Seacraft dealer in Florida and he said there is no way to look up the hull Id and find which model since seacraft was sold several times. Does anyone if there are any records floating around were I can match the hull ID number of my boat to look up which model it is?

Thanks in advance.

Strick,
In '75 the 23 cuddy cabin model was called a Sceptre. It was the earlier years, '73-'74, when the name Tsunami was used for the same model.

Ok here is the picture of the boat. The owner says it is a 1975 23 footer. Thats all she knows. Does anyone else have a 1975 that has a cabin that looks like this?
Thanks in advance,
Strick

I sincerely recommend you post the hull ID# here (seacraft's start with SEC) and a much bigger pic because that one little pic you have doesn't look like our 23 SC. It has some eerily familiar lines but it's not a Seacraft (at least a Princeton Fl boat like the rest of us)... Not knocking the boat, just don't know it (and there's a whole ton I don't know ). Almost looks like a early 70's Performer but the running surface is a little different...

Check out the Seacraft's here: http://www.classicseacraft.com/Specifications.htm and here : http://www.theboatzone.com/gallery/

and here is a couple shots of 23 Sceptre / Tsunami cuddys:

Thanks for the reply. I live in California and this boat is in Florida. I guess that will teach me to do things over the internet and telephone. The Hull ID number I was given is either SPA02719m751 0r FPA02719m751 the reception was not that good on the cell when I was listening. That is the only pic I have. The owner is sending me more pictures in the mail which I should have on Monday. have been trying to identify the cabin because it looks different then all the seacrafts I've seen. Tried to do a search on performers but came up empty with 70's models.

Thanks

Think I got it figured out. Looks like a Seaport. It was advertised as a Seacraft. Hopfully it was just an honest mistake and the lady will refund my deposit back.

Thanks

Chuck
