Default North East power outage

I hope all you fellow north easters made it through our predicament last nite safely. It was the perfect nite to go out on the boat, until it got dark that is. Buy stock in generator companies !!

Default Re: North East power outage

catman....we had the equivalent of a "brown out" ... The AC and fans in the house slowed way down ....to the best of my knowledge the computer keep running....but every thing was back to full speed in about 5-6 seconds

Didn’t buy stock but did buy the generator after the Hurricane Floyd problems a few years back....lots of threats that it would need to be fired up .... but still have not needed her (although it gets cranked over every so often to keep her loose).... and I'm not complaining so that’s a good thing ....
