Couple of things to think about....If doing the hard top and buying used make sure the top has reinforcement were you want to mount the riggers. When building a new t-top (hard) the fabricator will ask if you want mounting pads so you dont ruin the top....materials are tough but there is some strain at the mounting point with the riggers base and the top. You could also have the riggers mounted into the T-tops legs (good option for the soft top also).

Hard top is nice due to its durability ... but will cost a bit more. Also the radio box is usually molded right into the top which is nice.

The only thing is with the twenty a hard top might be a alittle much for the boat(might look a little big and bulky). There is a tower builder up here in NJ that makes a hard top call Thin Line that would probably look pretty good.
