I get and have gotten it. The autopilot doesn't mind handling it though. I think Mel is also looking at a power assist unit with that 2.4 helm but the Zuke has the tournament series Ram and is well buffered.

We're really shooting for the coveted "Gucci" award with the overhaul. It may not make it with sparkle but I'm hopping she'll slide over the line in the One of a Kind uniqueness scale.

Ken – I think your cabin modification is The number one modification to improving our boats. I have one additional modification that is tied to the cabin that I would seriously consider if I can get around to your level of commitment with my boat. Carl didn't arrive at his designs without a lot of modifications and even then was always changing designs for the better.

I am looking forward to the finished product! Did you decide against the angled helm station?

Not at all. I am going down to mark the finished face angle this weekend.

I am really looking forward to the extended cabin dimensions created from the mods. In overall appearance it should look like a cross between a Tsunami/Scepter and a Seavette.

Got to visit the sled today a finished laying out the final details on the helm and bilge access. I am thrilled with the new layout and lines created by moving the helm back lengthening the bow. To me and others it really has changed the overall look.
