the four blade should help lift the stern at lower speeds also !! maybe even try out a 5 blade.... ;-) get speed lift and load carrying..

My first start point is going to be set by my Lenco actuators.
I will measure, check form that point and hopefully the stars will align! |

Set the bracket, (even temporarily).
Then check the Lenco's. The bracket height is more important than the Lenco's. :-) |

Ok, got a bug up my a-- Friday. Left for the islands at 2330, arrived Cat Cay 0530.
Long slow night sluggin it on the nose, wet. I found out something I already knew, but forgot. The new outboards may be efficient, but none of it means a crap if you aren't able to maintain a plane. Sloggin it over there at 11knts SOG, was just burnin fuel, anehoo, I made it, but was not prepared for them NOT to have fuel. Long story short, the "Konk lived up to her name,and had a beautiful trip home and caught a dolphin. L.I.G.!! :-) |
