I just bought a dual axle NEXTRAIL for a fraction of what a Float-on goes for and it is made just as good. It has torsion bars, stainless hardware, brake flush kit, and disk brakes for just under $3000 delivered from FL to Long Island. You can't beat that!

Hat Trick, there is no better than Aluminum Slide-On by Owens and Sons, Tampa, St. Pete. Search it either way and you will find custom trailers at factory crap price. Have it built, and delivered to SC/GA border by 9-13-05 and I will deliver it at cost to base of Cape. Kim will answer the phone, and Jeff will have it built, including 6" extension to tongue for extreme tides. Or shortened for garage storage. Try it. Mine came upside down in a trailer delivered to Tybee Lighthouse Coast Guard Station cheap. These guys are Great. And I am coming up there anyway. Jeff will have it ready and I am in no way affiliated with this company. Real people and real product. Specify Stainless anything you want. LED lights. Hardware. Marathon tires. Guide Ons. Whatever. Owe it to yourself to give them a call. My Whaler trailer is Awesome! And I will arrive no later than 9-15-05. Vezo, Part II.

Vezo partII,
Thanks for your excellent offer and advise on trailers. I am actually just kicking tires right now and I haven't made up my mind on how to approach my aging trailer (new vs. repair). I am sure I won't have things figured out by mid september, but thank you again for your offer to help out.
