Default Re: Has anyone shipped boats internationaly?

A few of us are looking for boats over here. Thats what has gotten me onto it, and with the US$ taking even more of a crap its only a matter of months before the exchange rate with AU$ is 1 to 1.

The pangas are nice boats, but forget it if you get into any seas, bounce around like all hell. Ill have someone suss out the 20' and see how she goes. YOu can buy them with a trailer, t-top, and motor of the site for pretty cheap. The whole package would get here for $25,000 landed, ofcoarse the tax man is then going to want 10%!

I have a 1975 20' Sceptre hull with a 1994 Merc 200 Xri on it that may be for sale in a few weeks, if all goes well with another boat I've got an offer on. Let me know if you're interested, and if you figure out all the international shipping stuff.
