at 4400/4500rpm - I'm cruising at 28/29mph and topping out at 5800rpm 38/39mph. My gps doesn't lie (at least I don't think it does). That 175 zuke should perform better than . . . a 32 year old Merc v200 motor rated at the powerhead not prop.

Bass - That Johnson 225 is a mean motor. How do you have it setup? You should be able to bump it up a few holes . . . What prop are you running? If you can find a nice 17P Viper . . . I'll bet you'd be a happy man.
Here's performance specs from a 2.6L OMC seadrive . . . those were about 205hp at the prop from what I understand but they had the heavy bracket / trim and tilt. http://www.classicseacraft.com/broch...Drivefront.pdf Last edited by Bigshrimpin; 09-30-2011 at 12:33 PM. |

gantt diagram
We all enjoyed the datalist and the datagrid controls in asp.net datagrid . There were thousands of operations that we can perform using datagrid and datalist control. asp net gridview ships with another statistics bound templated switch which is called Grid View. Grid View has made the whole shooting match easier for developers. asp net grid changes that I accept seen in Asp.net 2.0 is that we don't command a luck of lex scripta 'statute law' to execute tasks but most of the functionality is already provided and built in the control.
In this article we will see the GridView call the tune in remedy and we will see what category of operations we can dynamic table present using this manage and how this control is think twice than the ageless datagrid control. Using the sort table Management: If you comprehend my earlier articles on DataGrid manage you might be struck by noticed that we necessity to author a register quite a bit of customs to capacitate paging, sorting and selecting an item from the datagrid. Using the gridview manage I did not settle accounts write a single line and got all the three things i.e, paging, sorting and variety an eye to granted. |

Its all about set up. The right prop and engine height make a huge difference.
I have hit 41mph on GPS with a tired single 225hp Optimax on my 25ft Bertram FBSF and light load. I have fished with 6 full size adults and 80 gallons of fuel and still hit 36mph+ with bimini up. Its all about set up. |

Seacraft 23WA
I have a Honda 225 hp on my 23WA and the last time I had it checked by the Honda dealer here, he said that Honda told him I wasn't running the motor hard enough at top RPM. He says since I am still under warranty, go out and run it. I did and I was surprised, at 6000 RPM, I was getting 46 MPH on my GPS. That is moving and the boat felt a little light on the stern. I can't afford to do that ofter and my fuel flow gauge all shows 16 GPH.

Thanks BigShrimp
That is where I heard about it. That combined with your report with a single 2.4 liter 200hp hitting 39mph with a good load proves it all comes down to set up. I love the fact that the 175hp Suzuki is a four banger. It is a viable, affordable option for many people would are not solely focused on offshore. |
