Opened a new browser window (using firefox) and did my searching there. Went back to CSC( other window) and everything showed up as being read???

That's pretty much what I've experienced. I wonder if it's the site, or a bug in Firefox. Maybe I'll switch to another browser and see if it repeats.

I've seen similar behavior. It seems there is a time element as well as whether or not you sign out of CSC. I have left a post up and opened another tab in the same browser later to CSC and there is an indication I have read a thread, but if I go back to the original tab and go back to general discussions, there will not be an indication that there are new posts in threads that I know have had new posts made.
