The engines go to Miami and get exported to the caribbean and south america. Apparently, nobody checks outgoing cargo containers. These assholes are pros. they're not going to stop.
I used to jokingly say that every Yamaha owner should paint their engines black, but damnit, it's just not a joke anymore. This is getting g***damn ridiculous!!!!

Do you have any more info on this, tried a news search could not find anything. There is a rash of these right now

Maybe this guy knows . . .

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/ne...n-bla-2/nLmkd/

"They're taking entire boats sometimes just to strip the motors," said Detective Steven Beare of the Palm Beach County Multi-Agency Auto Theft Task Force. "We have recovered outboard motors shipped overseas."

Maybe drive around the immediate area and look for high quality video cameras.
Ask if you could review the loop.

With all this advanced new technology you would think that someone would come up with a gps recovery device that would text you a message or call your cell phone if the object is moved more than a hundred yards. Would'nt that be sweet, then you can catch the dirt bag low life bast...s red handed & tune up on your target practice.

Could you ask Siri to call a number if she moves more than 30 ft?

Marine related theft is running rampant around S Fl..I work in the marine industry and you constantly hear of thefts on what seems like a weekly basis, it not even surprising anymore when you hear of it, its kinda the norm and has been for a couple years now. There is nobody out there stopping these dirtbags so they pretty much have free reign with whatever it is they want to take, motors, guages, electronics, i have even heard of a few trailers taken from the ramps during the day..
