Man i just couldnt bring myself to use it! I did have a version with a center recessed bolt to turn and tighten a carbon arm thing i made but the tight clearance with the tank just didnt let it work... The flange nor the hatch are a perfect circle so i found the way it fit best lol |

Not quite as hard as Awlgrip, but easily blended for repair. Awlcraft is pretty soft. A friend at Tribute said there a few secrets to shooting Awlgrip. He likes to start with a dry tack coat and then another and sometimes another. Then a medium coat followed by heavy. He said the structure comes from the tack coats and helps to avoid runs. He said some of his best work is achieved when it is raining outside. I`ll have to ask why as it caught me off guard. |

I have heard a few people say this about doing a light tack coat with Awlgrip

Thanks Sandy I’ll look into the Alexseal but will most likely stay with regular awlgrip..I kinda know what to expect with it.... the instructions say to do a tack coat first and I agree with you buddy that another tack coat on top of that seems to work better...I just sprayed a swim platform small one for my Egret and it came out good...but I went over about 4 times total

The corners of my dash are cracked. Way too many hours and coats. Awlwood vs epoxy and Awlclear. I lost. I'm slowly becoming an epoxy person. |
