Re: Lenco-electric tabs?
I thought Bennent was like the official trim tab of classicseacraft.com?
I bought 120's for the 23 and look forward to testing them this season. It's interesting, however, that my 23, with 800 hours on her when I acqired her, never had tabs at all running out of Stuart and Jupiter (the later of noted infamy). I assume that means that the Capt. felt she didn't need them.

Re: Lenco-electric tabs?
Not sure about the other boats but when I had the rocker switchfail on my bennets (which Tom replaced very quickly, < a week, cant beat his service)- but my boat was a hog that I could not keep the bow down at anything short of >3K rpms. After having them and then losing them, I gar-un-tee, you will not know how you liveed without them- I know this wasnt about Lenco's, but I had to add my nickel, lol. craig

Re: Lenco-electric tabs?
Gents-
If you re-read my post...I said I "think" I paid $60 each. Perhaps it was slightly more (maybe $70)...but it definitely was not $100, $120, etc. if that was the case...I would have bought a complete new set. I purchased them over 2 years ago directly from Lenco... Who knows...maybe they gave me a deal? All I remember is that I was not a happy camper about the price and the fact that Lenco initially did not want to sell me the actuators directly but relented in the end after I insisted. |
