Yes. The Expedider has better prices but doesn`t have crossmembers.

I bought my float on from there a few years back, got a great deal. The guy I dealt was a bit crabby but still the deal was great. Good luck

Ole are you back in town?I scewed up the gelcoat bondo keel job 3 times. Aren`t you proud? Went back to brushing and got a pretty good color match. I`d like to get one more coat on tomorrow. Can I bring them down Sat. and hit Sailorman for an east coast chip for the Furuno.
Cheers,
Sandy

Sandy,
That's fine, just bustin! You wouldn't be using bondo underwater would you?
Got a 69' hull the other day!

That fine `69 is in good hands. Congrats!

No bondo! Mixed up gelcoat, tint, and cabosil to bondo consistency, but I forgot why I haven`t done bodywork since I was 17 or so. I really really suck at it. First batch was lemon yellow. Second was a little lighter. Third was ok, but not great. I couldn`t get the coats consistently thin or even coverage. Not acceptable. Sanded all off. Tried 2 more times. Same frustration. Sanded again and went with just gelcoat, tint and a brush. Almost out of gelcoat.

This pitiful admission will self destruct in 30 seconds.
Insert Mission Impossible music here.
Over and out.
Sandy

Headed down to Ole`s tomorrow am. Anyone looking for anything at Sailorman on short notice?

My trailer is a 22/23 and was never set up properly. It was also neglected. I brought the full tool kit to delivery. It was crunchy. I learned a lot at DeSoto and talked more with the guys at the Hub. I just got her back on with the aft stands still in. Oh no! What happened? I have a 1" gap from the top of the fore end of the bunk to the hull. The fore v guide is all the way down and I really expected it to be right at close to max height when adjusted.

I Duct taped my level to a framing square and took copious notes. ???. One more call to the Hub.

I dropped the tongue down , took out the aft stands and presto, a perfect 1/4" gap. I`m still wondering how this could be. Weight? Bueller? Bueller?

I`ll get a few pics and post what I learned along the way.
Thanks Ole!

Cheers,
GFS

I`ll get some up this week. I still owe Evan a shot of the mini tackle console insert.
