Shine - I heard about the "same guys" theory second hand, after they hit the storage lot at Loggerhead Marina in Palm Beach Gardens (at the foot of Donald Ross Road bridge). One of the victims heard a PBSO detective mention that they thought it was the same guys. They got about a dozen motors (all yamaha) and the detectives found paper plates, plastic forks, chicken bones and potato salad containers near a hole that had been cut in the chain link fence. These guys are very comfortable in their endeavors.
So you might check with the marine theft detective division @ Palm Beach County Sherrif's Office.

Siri is the voice activated concierge who helps me navigate my new iphone.

There is an iphone app that will give the coordinates of its location if taken.

So you could use it like a lojack.

Yes, Im sure my insurance company is going to require some sort of proximity alarm or more secure storage.

Im just so disgusted with all of it, Im considering getting rid of the boat and starting over.

The Loggerhead Marina at Palm Beach Gardens is a nightmare for theft and some of the previous employees, including the former manager, were suspects and all were fired. I captain a a motor yacht that we used to keep there...and within days of telling them we were not renewing, they stole a $1500 pair of Fujinon Image Stabilization binoculars right out the cabin - no forced entry. The side yard where smaller boats are stored on trailers is poorly secured and the thieves back up their cars in the shadows under the Donald Ross bridge, hop the fence and take whatever they want.
