Bonefish....very nice work there....I'll be stealing some ideas for my Sceptre. I like the scuppers.... I'll have to wait to inspect my boat to see what has to be done. I guess there are no issues with the epoxy bonding to the PVC?? That's surprising...

What did you use to mold the scupper tubes???

Again....great work....

Foam was shaped to make the mold for the scupper tubes.

More progress pics. The cap was removed to reveal a balsa core that was mush. It was ground out and replaced with foam.

Space in the foam core to fit a new anchor pulpit. Pipes were also added as wire chases.

Larger side supports were fabricated. The starbord side houses the fresh water fill.

New forward bulkhead.

The entire underside of the cap was painted prior to trial fitting.

The cap will be permanently replaced after the floor goes in.

Very nice job on this boat. I see a potter bracket in that second pic I'm going to copy your pvc wire tubes. Is the gunnel support made from foam as well? I've been contemplating on making two of those for each side on my 20 project.

The pictures from the cap of your 20 prompted my last post. The gunnel supports did come from a foam mold. The enlarged size provides a lot more room on the starbord side for the fresh water fill, and on the port side for the fuel hose.

It is a Potter bracket...hopefully we'll bolt the rascal on before too long.

I'm real pleased with how the transom has come out. The boat is 23'. We plan to install the bracket soon, although I still haven't decided on the motor.

Here's the bracket ready to go.

The bracket is finally in place. One of the many things to wrap up before the floor goes back in.

Baitwell plumbing finished.

Bilge pump "cartridges" were fabricated so that the pumps can be changed out very easily. They are attached to the back side of the inner transom wall.

Battery boxes are finished. Macerator pump for forward fish box in place on top of fresh water holding tank. Fresh water fill and vent hoses are attached.

The cap is finished up and ready to go back on.

The cap is completely glassed in place. Much more stiff.
