You must go through planer blades like crazy with that hard teak!

Dave, after conversing with Jim today, he said as hard
as he tried to honor your wishes the grain still came
out with the likeness of Obama..
Damn! Well, Jim made it so I could disassemble it and varnish the pieces individually. I'll have to see if I can rearrange the slats and find Elvis. Obama will have to go.

Yep, you got it! It's assembled now for shipment, but can be disassembled to allow the louvers to be reassembled in the order of Dave's choice....to get that PERFECT look of a charactor he likes.

Any more sugguestions from the peanut gallery as to what the likeness should be???

Jim

P.S. This would be a nautical Psychologist dream!! What do see, sir?

Default ECONOMY Cabin Doors for Sale - $195

I know most everyone is on a budget these days. Accordingly, I have made an Economy louvered cabin door and it is priced right! $195 for it as shown: sanded wood ready for you to stain it a color of your choice, then varnish.

Also, If you want to buy it painted, It's $225 with a base primer coat and a top coat of paint (White in color)

Same great construction / design used in these as the Teak doors.

I know I'm chiming in late to this thread, but wondering if you still had a set of the teak Sceptre doors available. I have a '78 23' Sceptre (Trayder put pictures of it in the "Gallery" section under Chris Downey's 23 Sceptre) and have basically destroyed my doors (my own fault). You do some beautiful work!

Thanks,
Chris
