Very very nice. I wish I had done my transom that way.

Thanks for the comment. How did you do your transom?

I have a full transom like yours I just wish that I had added the door. I toyed with the idea of adding the door but decided against it mainly because my little brain could not figure out how to do it right.
Your boat is beautiful.

Thanks for the comment. The main reason we wanted the door and transom is we dive alot down here. So we thought the door would just make it easier with your dive gear on.

P.S. Your boat is beautiful!

SeaMaster - The transom looks great!!!
Are they custom making the door or did they cut the opening to fit a pre-manf. door of some type?

I will be rebuilding my transom and plan on closing her up.. I really like the way yours is set-up.

One more question - did they use marine plywood to fab the storage area in the top of the enclosed transom?

Thanks -

Sorry for not replying back right away. We are on vacation and i just got to a computer. The door was made by Don at HermCo to fit the transom and bracket he did for use. You can see a idea of how he does it on hermco.net

We picked up the boat yesterday 8/7/05 on the way back from St.Augustine. When we reached Sawgrass Expressway, it rained, thunder, lighting, and blew until we got home. It was a miserable drive. We are taking the boat tomrrow morning to get the engines checked out at a Yamaha tech, and hope to have it in the water by the weekend. We cleaned it all up today after work/school. Don did an amazing job on the whole boat. It doesn't even feel like a 23 foot boat. You can see pictures here, http://hermco.net/gallery.htm untile we get some of it in the water, it is the first boat on his website.

Your boat came out great!

I wish mine had spray rails.
Please post performance numbers when you get them. I am curious to see how fast it will fun with twin 150s on that bracket.

Maybe I'll see you out on the water this weekend. I am suppose to get some fiberglass work done on Saturday and will hopefully be out on Sunday. My boat can't be in the water until it gets patched. One of my clients had a little accident with the anchor.
