Thumbs up New look for ClassicSeaCraft

Hi everyone. Welcome to the new look for the message board. Log in now and look around. Make some posts!

One of the things you will want to do fairly soon is correct your birthday info. (Sorry, everyone has to do this. I can't get the birthday data to transfer from the old board correctly.)

To do this, click: User CP> Edit Your Details> Date of Birth

You can edit other details on that page as you see fit. Don't forget to click [Save Changes] button at the bottom of the page when you are done.

The time is now to see if this thing will float!

Thank you J~.

As of 5 a.m., EDT, the new message board system is online and operational. I have tested it a little and everything seems to work.

Let's decorate the place and see how it looks. You can upload your avatars by going to your User CP> Settings and Options heading> Edit Avatar. Look in the column on the left to find the link. (See illustration below)

You can make other changes there as well. In addition to Edit Avatar, there is Edit Signature, Edit Email & Password, Edit Options, which controls a whole gamut of custom settings, and Edit Ignore List. Hopefully nobody will need to use that!

Default pm space

The PM capacities changed so everyone better get in and clear some room. I just was denied access to 2 members' pm because they are full, as was mine.

Sorry about those denials. This is a new board and it still has some of its default values in place.

I noticed during the upgrade that this board has a lot of PM activity, so I have increased the number of PMs that can be stored to 500. Hopefully this will be sufficient.

As for your "formerly known as" status, your name can be changed to anything you wish by your board admin. The important thing to remember is once your name has been changed, you must use that new name to login to the board.

In the end this new system should be easier to remember because you will always have one name for everything.

Sorry about that. Custom avatars were turned off for Registered Users (another board default). I have turned them on now. Please check again and see if you can add images.

There are a million settings to change on a new board. Please be patient, keep reporting bugs, and everything will be ironed out.
