Default Value of 1975 center console

My dad has a 1975 Seacraft center console with a 1985 Johnson 140. The boat is in great condition with no structural problems. Engine and trailer are in good shape also.

what ballpark is the value of this boat. NADA says $900 for hull

Have a look on www.boattraderonline.com as there are often similar boats on there to which yours could be compared to.

There's a big difference between "book value" and what one is willing to pay for it. Simple economics... supply and demand. These are desired boats. It's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it...

Check out the various sites (like this one), EBAY, Trader Online, Salty Dawg, etc. and see what older SC's are going for nowadays to get a "guesstimate" on it's worth.

Two months ago we sold a 1972 20 ft. c/c with a 1993 200 Evinrude for $7000. It was a turnkey rig with no trailer. Ran 53 mph with no special prop. Boat in good condition motor very good.
