Default What is the difference in the hull 18 &23

I am ap previous owner of a Potter built 23 and know the "ride" very well. I am looking at an 18 Potter hull that is supposed to be built on the same lines as a 23. I know the 20 does not have the same soft ride s the 23. Anyone know how the 18 is? I was told the 18 and 23 ride virtually the same.

I own a 1977 18 ft. SF. I believe it is the best riding 18 I have ever been on. Matter of fact it is a better ride than a lot larger CC's out there. Old or new. I have not had a chance to ride on a 23 yet. Although I am considering buying a 1978 23. If you can find a Potter built 18, I say go for it, you won't be sorry. They are azz heavy, but you probably already know that from the 23. GOOD LUCK!!!
