Default What's my boat worth?

It is a 1978 SeaCraft 23' open fish. 1996 Mercury 250 EFI, less than 400 hours. Furuno 582 Color CRT bottom machine with bronze thru-hull transducer, Sitex Loran, Furuno Differential GPS, Flowscan fuel management. Bennet trim tabs. Custom aluminum leaning post and T-Top with life vest storage. 300' of anchor rode, anchor and retrieval ball. All coast gaurd equiment included. 1-year old Tandem axle aluminum trailer with brakes. I am thinking of selling and getting a World Cat of Glacier Bay. Any help is appreciated. There are pictures of it under Mr. Pells 23' SeaCraft

It would be sad to part with such a terrific boat. But a cat would be pretty nice too.

IMO, an in the know SeaCraft person would be right to pay $15,000 on the low side and over $20,000 if the hull and fuel tank, etc. are in great shape.

Beauty (value) is in the eyes of the beholder...

I would like to get $15k for it. It is not perfect, but in great shape none the less. It will be sad to see her go....I really love this boat, but just had a baby, and the wife says I need a bigger boat

My guess with the electronics package, armstrong bracket and a strong motor would be in the upper teen range with the trailer. That alone is worth 2 grand. If you list it in your local paper, it should be out of your driveway before the ad expires.

If you sell her, you'll never realize the 3 boat theory. Keep the 23, buy the 26 Glacier Bay with the Suzuki 140's and you're just one step away.
