Default info on 1986 23 walkaround

Hello everyone. Great site with alot of info. I have recently been looking for a boat when I happened across a 1986 23 Seacraft walkaround. I know Seacraft builds great boats and am familiar with the "newer" CC models but I cant seem to find any info on this style of Seacraft. The boat is in excellent condition with just some minor cosmetic trailer and dock rash. There is a total lack of any type of spider cracks in the radiuses or other stress points, the deck and transom are solid and all the hardware is still in great shape. Its mostly original condition with a 1986 175 hp Mariner. Even the motor appears to be in great shape with no corrosion on the upperend or in the bracket or rams. The person selling maintains that the motor has very low hours. Compression testing was good as well.

So does anyone know of this type of Seacraft and what it maybe worth? Shes asking $12,800 inc. a 2001 galv tandem trailer that is new. Some older electronics. Cabin is dry and no evidence of leaks.

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: info on 1986 23 walkaround

They only made the walk arounds for a few years then stopped I looked at one about 2 months ago down in the keys. Lots of room in the back for fishing not very much room up front except for stuff. The rest of the boat is just like all SeaCrafts great hull design great in ocean conditions. As for the price that seems fair to me but I am predigest towards SeaCraft like most guys on this sight.
