Default Steve's new doghouse

Seeing that we tend to get a little colder up north here, a sizeable percentage of the boats - especially the year round commercial guys - have full enclosures, a/k/a "a doghouse". Well, here you will see Steve's doghouse that he built last year for his 23 - a solid hideaway from the elements:

Well he just let us know over at S-B http://www.striped-bass.com/vbulleti...threadid=10812 that he has just completed his latest doghouse:

Talk about shweeeet!!!!!!Very nice job on the first one, not sure about the 2nd one but I guess you could make it work. Plus you could eat all the pork b-b-q and nachos with jalapeno's you wanted to the day /night before you fished and you would have a great seat for the ride out!
Im fixin to make me a new canvas "doghouse" as soon as I receive my new material from e-bay(i hope). Also have me a heater coming so I will probably be one of the few center consoles around with heat!!!(that I know of)thanx for the pix John-

You certainly wouldn't need a heater for doghouse #2 after eating the bbq pork and jalapeno nachos, you'd be creating you're own!

Boy, talk about a pun-laiden statement - "heater" and "#2", totally unintentional of course.

Hooper:

Not sure if you're thinking of my boat. Ran it from Boston to Ship Shop's on Saturday (Nov. 8) and it is tied up in the cut (definitely could have picked better weather). It is a 1978 23' Sceptre, "Water Rat".

Does anyone know where one could find a fully enclosed pilothouse like those on the Shamrock?

Otto - a lot of those out here would be done custom... Seamark also makes a pilot house but its a little too big for a 23 http://www.hermco.net/seamark_pilothouse.htm
