Where to look?

I am very impressed with this site. I have the "bug" and know it will not go away until I get a 23'. I have been looking over the internet the past few months and was wondering where other people go to find used SeaCrafts. I know about boatrader.com and yachtworld but wonder if there are any other sites that are worthwhile. I am interested in a 70's model. Any help would be appreciated. These boats are beautiful and I am just looking for the right deal before I can call one my own.

I found mine on the side of the road with a for sale sign. I wasn't really even looking at the time but I couldn't pass it up.The boat is in great shape. I just polished the gel coat out, cleaned up the deck and teak. I do need to recover the front bench seat, and do a little spider-crack work but not much. It was a 1978 Master Angler w/ 1980 150 Evinrude. The trailer was included and in good shape. Believe it or not, the motor has been great even though it is old. I will repower with a Suzuki 140 or a Yamaha next summer (since the season here is almost over for me). Anyway I got it for $4,500.00. I think a pretty good deal.
Keep looking, they are out there.

Be prepared to spend time, lots of time looking and you will learn and eventually find a great boat. Try marinas with dry storage and ask the management if there are any boats that are sitting unused.
With respect to that vintage you have two options : 1- no restoration - low cost but be prepared to spend money as a 30 yr old hull will require some work(the option I chose).
2- restored boat, if done properly (like Fellowship or Hammer or any of the other restorations on this site) high initial cost but you get a boat that is in many ways better than new (the option I wanted).

I KNOW OF A GUY THAT GOT ALL THE OWNERS OF ALL SEACRAFT BOATS IN HIS STATE (PUBLIC INFORMATION) AND CALLED ALL THE 23’S OWNERS TO SEE IF THEY WANTED TO SELL THEIR BOAT. I THOUGHT THAT WAS A NEW TWIST ON BOAT HUNTING.
