My name is Art Jeffries and I am the owner of Airtime Watersports in Virginia Beach, VA. I have been fishing a 23 Tsunami with a friend for about 8 years. When I decided to open the dealership I was thrilled to be able to carry my favorite line of boats and begin a SeaCraft owners club to help promote owner loyalty and fishing. We are sponsoring a SeaCraft owner's Rockfish Tournament. The first annual tournament will be held on Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1
The itinerary is as follows: November 29, 2002 5:00PM to 8:00 PM welcome dinner and final registration at Bubba's Marina and restaraunt on Shore Drive in VB. November 30, 2002 6:00 AM official start time December 1, 2002 12:00 PM official end time. The idea behind these hours are to allow the maximum legal fising time and to give all entrants the same opportunitydo to work and or travel schedules. The catch limits and rules will follow the VA dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries limit of 2 fish per man per 24 hour day. The 30 hour total tournament time enables anyone to legally fish twice if they are so inclined! The entrance fee is $20.00 per person includes the welcome dinner and a long sleeve SeaCraft t-shirt. The prize package has not yet been finalized because I am waiting to find out the amount of financial support from SeaCraft Boats. The winner will be determined by the highest weight per man per "legal day". So if you fish both days you can double your chances of winning. Bubba's will serve as the official weigh station and serve as the base of operations. Please understand that this is the first tournament I have ever organized so I am "green". Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions by e-mail artbo007@yahoo.com. The follow up to the tournament will be to make all interested entrants charter members to the SeaCraft owners club. We will then as a club organize any other events that the club wants to support. Remember this tournament is for SeaCraft boats only!! The blow out date is the following weekend with the same schedule except there will be no additional welcome dinner. The 1st 2nd & 3rd place winners will be announced on Sunday at 1:00 PM na d be posted to the Classic SeaCraft site. The registration form is available by contacting me at the above e-mail address or by calling the shop at 1-877-924-7846. Please forward this to as many SeaCraft owners as possible!!! |

Art,Welcome to the board ,is the area code right on your post??? I hav'nt met you yet but you recently sold a 23-dark blue c/c to my brother -in- law. I live at the oceanfront off of General Booth Blvd and will be happy to help you out if there is anything I can do.(except heavy lifting, lol) I just had back surgery so I wont be running my boat or fishing for that matter, but I will register anyways just for the shirt. My home phone number is 426-3301. Hopefully the big fish will have shown up and with this cold snap they ought to be on the move.
