Add up all the things you mentioned that it needs. Now, in addition to that amount, how much would you be willing to pay to have that boat for use at your disposal? THAT is how much it's worth.

I know you probably are looking for a dollars-and-cents answer (and you may get one), but you should offer the seller what YOU are willing to pay for a boat that is basically in need of everything.

If that is the hull that you are looking for, this is a great opportunity to set it up the way you want and know that everything except the hull is brand new.

Also depending on how much of the work you do your self, makes a big differance in cost.

Default 19 footer

Recently came across a 19 bow rider at an estate sale . 10 years on blocks , no trailer, engine & drive is scrap(120hp ,4cyl OMC) Boat seems solid and complete, a few minor dings. Obviously repower, ccontrols , wiring, paint etc . The question is how much is it worth in current stae ?

jmorton732,

A couple hundred if you ask me...I have a 1967 19 Bow Rider w/an outboard. Great little boat great for the wife and kids and fishing too. I love mine and it been in the family since it was new. Your gonna have to work the transom no matter what you do. OMC of that year arn't around any more and Mercruiser doesn't make an adapter plate for that style OMC. But it's worth the work to fix it if you like doing thta type of work. Not many 19's left and its one of the orginals..

OHHH, This boat sounds like the perfect candidate for a MERC 120hp DIESEL mated to an alpha! Only 10 grand out the door.

I love spending other peoples $$$
