Default Bombardier Warranty Deal Is Back

Just a heads up. Purchase any Evinrude before April 15 2004 and receive a 7 year warry. Purchase a Johnson 2 Stroke or 4 Stroke and get a 5 year warry.

I got it on my 2003 225hp ficht. Many auto makers won't offer 7 years, gotta say they believe in what they are building.

Its partially a confidence thing but mostly just a sales tool. When sales get slow with the automakers, they add special financing, when they are weak again, they extend the warranty period. When things are strong, they roll back the warranty periods (saving money) and reduce the incentives (saving money)

Still great for the consumer

Thats on all Evinrudes. Sales are going good on these engines. Orders are taking from 4 to 6 weeks to fill at this time.
