Default Adding a floor piece with gutter

Merry Christmas everyone. I took a little time yesterday and today to add a floor piece with a gutter to the area which was once my splash well. Here are a few pics of that. I'm close to the point now were I'll be glassing everything together in the stern. Hope you all had a safe holiday.

Hey Strick

Again Great Job! I really enjoy your seeing your progress and photo's, It's better than

I'm curious as to your plans for the old deck hatch with the battery inspection plates pictured and the space below it now that you have cleaned out those old battery shelves and installed the transom knee pieces? Are you going to make a new one that is hinged with access to a below deck fish box? Also what kind of access are you planning for the inside transom area?

Thanks for the come-back

Capt Chuck- I've been thinking alot about what to do with the stern. I plan on adding a bracket with swim platform. I'm keeping the deck piece with the two pie hatches and filling them in so it is all one piece. A Armstrong hatch 21"x11" will be in the middle of the piece that I added with the gutter. This will give access to the plumbing for the live well, rear bilge pump etc. I will cut an acess door in the stern to get to the swim platform. Not sure how I will do this as it would have been better to make the access door in the original mold but I forgot to. I'm making two hatches with hinges. One will go on top left of the arched transom and one big one for middle that will open outward. I plan on putting the oil tank and water seperators etc on the inside of the transom. The batteries will stay in the consel. I'll keep the fish box on the bow as I dont have much room in my boat below the deck in the stern. Got many other plans but I'll tell you about those later.

abl1111- not a pro.... but I really like making things, I think I missed my calling in life as I could work on boats all day long.... if I could pay someone to do the grinding for me then I may quit my day job

ScottM- Hard for me to let a day go by without doing something to the boat. I had to take a break from eating all that bananna cream pie so I escaped for a while to the boat
