I have read thru the threads of this topic and although there is some great info - there is no real definitive answer whether it is a benefit to re-route the scuppers thru the transom ?
Has anyone had the experience of having both i.e. changing from one to the other ? What's your opinion ? I have a 23' Tsunami w/ among other things, the transom re-done, and now is the time for me to change this or leave it. I do not like the idea of wet feet. I know that keeping plugs in the drains is a solution, however - I don't like that idea either ( although it is something I could live with ). Do you have any descriptive details or pix describing the transom scupper idea. do the cone-like scuppers i.e. Rabud work well ? Do the transom mounted scuppers mount above, below or right on the water line ? Input would be appreciated so I can make an educated decision.. Thx, Alan |
