Sweet idea with the bait well. Dare I ask how much the transom refirb cost without the bracket? Does the boat sit higher in the water now with the bracket?

Overall beautiful!!

Capt Brian, to redo the transom, the livewell, rerouted the scuppers, made a fish box with a pump in it to drain, hang the bracket & repaint it was jsut under 50000.00 the bracket was another 2000.00. Yes, she floats higher if you look at the old water line the bracket raised the boat an 11/2. I will float in about a foot of water know, its awesome. As far as the livewell it actually works not like before when it was in the deck. The fish box in the floor works really nice its insulated you can drop the fish in right their without having to walk to the front cooler like before. No more bending down to get live baits their right there waste high,

beautiful job. in fact that is exactly the way i want mine to look. what type of leaning post did you put in? does Armstrong make a bracket for twins? how much tweaking did you have to do after the bracket was installed to gain back the performance you had before? any thing you would or would not have done? any info you have at all would help out tremendously.

Hello Popeye sorry I havent responded ,been busy fishing. The leaning post I kind of redesigned to clear so the rods would clear the top. Smittys boat tops in Miami put it together. As far a tweaking it runs better know than it ever did before. The only thing I would change is the drain holes on the sides when theirs to much weight water comes in into the fish box in the deck, I would put these higher at least 6 inches. In my case I'll plug it whenever I think about it eventually I'll put a longer hose with a bend upward to prevent the water from coming in.Yes, Armstrong does make a twin bracket. Hope this helps.DT.
