Called on it today, bracket is sold but boat is still there. Seems to have a crack from the transom thru the deck, huh?
I dont think the boat is as solid as they say it is. Why else would a dealer be selling it for that cheap.

at $250, it really doesn't matter if the transom is completely missing...

BEWARE,Well guys I went to see it today, but the guy says he doesnt have a title the guy that previously owed it is in jail and he cant locate a title. I did some futher reasearch and called the tax collectors office and its registered as a 1967 hull and not a Seacraft this maybe explains why this guy is selling it so cheap and all parted out, somethings funny here.Deck needs to be replaced and so does the transom which was fine for 250.00 but not without a title. It looks like someone registered this boat as home made or something. Its funny I told him I did'nt want the t-top or console and before he would remove it from the boat he wanted his money, kinda anxious for the cash, never told me anything about the title up until I asked ,If I would of gave him the cash I think I would of had a hard time trying to get it back. That made me suspicious.Wolud of been a good project boat.RS.

I've bought two SeaCrafts in South Florida and there was something "fishy" about both of them. I don't want to relive the details, but suffice it to say, make sure there is a title, the seller is the one named on the title, and make sure the parts and pieces (engine too) are listed on the title with their corresponding serial numbers.

Theft and then a quick too-good-to-be-true sale seem pretty common.

my bet is that it is stolen in the first place. Why would any one register a seacraft as homemade. That alone just ruined the resale value of it. Secondly if the dealer cant produce a title then what? Does the guy and jail know that his stuff has been put up for sale? I also called and had a driver on the way down with check in hand to buy it but once i started talking to him, began to sound a little fishy, so I called the driver back and said forget it. the dealer said that he had alot of people look at it but no one bought , must be something up because at that price should of sold a long time ago.
