I love my Garmin!
Wow! Out the first time since I installed my new electronics suite on my 23 CC. The 2010C Garmin is one baaad unit. The 10 1/4 inch screen is easy to see in the daytime, even direct sunlight, the features are endless and the screen layouts are fully flexable. I installed a blackbox fishfinder and 50/200 transom transducer with temp. Now I can run my trusty old SiTex 106c on 50 and my garmin on 200 and they don't interfear. I kept having to squint to see the Sitex while the Garmin was easy to read. The garmin can show an infinite variable of split screen's. I can have 50/50 map & sonar. 1/3 1/3 1/3 map, sonar, info(speed temp heading etc) or split it 67/33 21/79 etc between map and ff. The only trouble I had was the machine would not let me enter any loran td's. Need to call the factory on that one, had me confounded. Otherwise, well worth the money and easy to learn how to use. Highly recommended.

Good to hear Brian.I got a 2006C for Christmas and can't wait to try it out - waiting for the black box to come in. not as big as yours, but I was impressed with the screen in simulation mode.
