Default WANTED Leaning Post 1988 20'SeaCraft

I am looking for a leaning post for a 1988 20' SeaCraft. I currently have a leaning post that is in great condition but it is to big for me,it will be a better fit on a 23' or bigger size boat. It has (4)rod holders,a removal backrest, storage bucket under seat. I would also appreciate it if you guys that own a 20'could give me the dimensions of the leaning post you have. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I just bought one of these on Ebay..its 30 inches wide, haven't gotten it yet but looks about the right size for a 20ft cc.

I bought the 32" Mini-Rocket Launcher from Birdsall. It is the same leaning post that comes standard on the new 20's. It's pricey, but it was the one I wanted, so I was willing to pay what it cost. I think Birdsall also makes another one that is 30" wide but I'm not sure what they call it.

There are definitely cheaper options out there. The back end of Boat Trader always has a few builders in S. Florida that are selling their wares cheaply.

Thanks guys, I know what youre saying Mark the Mini that Birdsall makes must fit on there like a dream and it also looks great, I would love to go that route but I am going to have to sell the one that I own now so that it could offset the cost a little. Really appreciate the post. Thanks!!

i agree...if i had the cash i would go the route of the birdsall, i have a feeling that the leaning post from eBay is a temp situation.

is it time to start drinking?

Talk to Don Battin. He posts here as Pipe Dreams Marine. He'll build one to fit your specs.

I had him build a T-Top for my rig and it is flawless! He's now build me (and someone else here on CSC) a leaning post.
