Default 20' or 21'

I own a 1986 CC and thought it was a 20 footer and was then told it was a 21'Sport fish. Anyone know how to tell which it is?

BottomLine,
What is your boat's LOA? If it's 19'6" (could be 19'8"), then you have a 20. If it's 20'6", then you have a 21. However, it is my understanding that the 21 wasn't manufactured until 1997 or so.

What's the best way to get an exact measurement on the LOA?

I have the same boat and I love it. I've always wondered about the same question you posted and have considered mine a 20' after decoding the HIN

CHECK YOUR REGISTRATION, I HAVE A 1988 CC ON THE REGISTRATION IT SHOWS IT AS BEING 20'4". THAT WOULD MAKE IT A 21'SPORT FISH.
