The boat is very similar to the 20'. The floor, deck and transom are all very solid. It is shrinkwrapped right now. If you are seriously interested, I will uncover it & send pic's. Where are you located?

I was merely intrigued due to not knowing that any 18's were set up as inboard cuddy cabin boats. I have had both the 18' and 20' CC and was unaware that the setup you describe existed. I learn something new everyday.

I am interested. Do you have a serial # and an exterior photo?
It's a long way from FL to have a look.

I'm looking for the regi right now, anyway.. found the bill 0f sale says Vin # DK 699067 I assume those #'s to be correct. I will contiue to look for regi. I looked on the right rear transom where most vin's are but didn't see a #. Without tearing the shrinkwrap off, is there another place they would have put it? The boat looks just like the one on your sign in. Will post pic's soon.-dg

Doug,
After '72, the CG required mfg's to place the HIN on the transom. With your boat being a '72, you're in a gray area. My '72 Seabird has the mfg's serial # on a plate inside a storage locker. Take a look around, I would think there is a plate somewhere that lists weight limit, HP rating, etc. By the looks of the HIN you give, it might have been assigned by the state in which it was titled.

Thanks for the reply, Scott, as usual I gave out false info ( although not intentionally!) - found the regi, it's a 1970 & 20' !! - Who knew ?

That explains everything then. When you originally posted an 18' cuddy, I wondered if you really meant a 20' Seafari.
