Default Finster's Score's Big

Check this out. I just closed the deal on my '78 SeaCraft Seavette. This thing is really cool! It has a 300 Merc on it (apparently in good shape) and a decent trailer. The boat is going to need some work, but not that much. And I think I can bring back the original gel coat.

I talked to Mr.P about last year and he told me he only made 20 of them. (it took me that long to put this deal together).

I'll try and get some pic's up tomorrow.

Cheers.

You can't keep a secret for beans. Here's an image of Finster's REALLY big score, which I picked up for him today.

Finster's Rocket

I hereby relinquish my title as FOUR BOAT THEORY to Chris. And he's welcome to it. I've had enough. For now...

That is so cool!! It looks like my Dads 59 Caddy. Same colors too. Great score. I'd love to see more pictures. -PF

That's actually a 1961 Custom Craft 15' "Stingray' for his
Mom. Very cool...

Wait a minute Otto, that doesn't look like any SeaCraft I have ever seen. I checked the specs on the Seavette and that photo is not a 23'Seavette! Somethings not right?

PF_Flyer, yeah their both cool boats. I will have pic's up of the vette tomorrow.

As for the CustomCraft, thats the second one we have. The first one was my first boat when I was 10 and my 72 year old mother has been restoring it and taking it to boat antique shows. The one Otto picked up today is cherry.

Scott is coming over tomorrow to check out the vette, and with a little help him, Otto and others we may, and I do say may get it splashed for next weeks gathering. I haven't gotten into the mechanic's of the boat yet, but from what I can see so far today it could be possible.

Nice score(s) for the Handle Boat Company... See the house expansion was purely to grease the skids with the wife for future aquisitions. Otto has been bumped....

OK, now for the pics. Keeping in mind that Finster is one of the resident PROFESSIONAL photographers on this site, WTF does he take such crappy pictures??

I thought I saw Don Johnson in one of the other pics...
