Mine was redone from scratch, so if you are willing to go that route, have a look at the post in the general category entitled "done".

Ha Fishtale
If you go to the front page and click on 20’ boats there are a number of guys that have pictures of their boats through the process of their rebuilds you will find some good idea’s there.

hey there!! i'm back! on the master angler model the baitwell is high up to the gunwale. i'm willing to try anthing even custom if i have to go that route i don't mind. But i wanted to see a few setup to get an idea of the original setup. but if anyone has a custom setup i would be more than happy to look at it. ANYTHING will work!

thank you all!!

P.S. i'm just trying to get ideas before some restoration start to take place.

If you're asking about plumbing, I'm planning on installing a KeepAlive system in my boat.
Here's a diagram - it provides flow through and recirculating functions (I trailer my boat)
Bait system plumbing

I'd be interested in hearing what others might say about the KeepAlive pumps with micro bubbles.

I installed a keep alive system on my Contender and it defintly helped. I noticed a vast improvement in the quality of my baits and I was able to keep many more in the well. My system had one pump for bringing in raw water and another pump within the well to cirulate the water and infuse it with air.

I also have keepalive pumps in my truck's herring wells. They work well but the key factor is keeping amonia levels to a minimum . On a closed system the keepalive will not work much better than a plain pump unless you add additives to the water to keep toxins down.
