Default maybe a steal for a 23

This sounds good to me fellas, tell me what you think. 23 seacraft 1982. T-top, full stern with bracket which holds 2 140 HP Johnsons (1983) engines run strong, deck/transom strong, new trailer with electric winch. 2 swivel rod holders. Owner says buying new house forces sale. Some electronics, nothing great though. 160 gal. fuel. Was asking 15K, now at 12K. CSY built hull, that was after Potter but before tracker, right? HIN starts SIC. How were those hulls? Thanks for the help guys.

Chance,
I have not personally been on a csy hull, but some believe they are even better than potter built hulls. They could be right but in my opionin potter hulls are more known than csy and that helps them in resale.

This is a SeaCraft Industries hull - post-Potter, post-CSY, and pre-Tracker. It has been mentioned many times before that CSY only built 2 models in 1981 only, while SeaCraft Industries built the others starting in '81, then acquired all models in '82 until 1987 when Tracker came along.

Trayder - maybe we can get the time line posted as a sticky for all to see?

$12K seems high because of the 21 year old engines.

I am next to positive this boat is owned by a member here, named Sqidrig? Was this boat in the Onset, wareham area-

ScottM- Good idea I have not done it yet due to the contorversies in time, but that seems to be ironed out and will post a time line next year.

Scott, I am still a loss as far as this boat goes. It doesn't fit any of our thinking.

At least Mr.P made it easy for us '70's eara guys.

Chris,
I can only guess that the timeline is off somehow. TXY is Sarasota Marine Corp, which according to the timeline was CSY's parent company. Perhaps the years are off and TXY was around in '81?
