I might buy it. I was going to go over and look at it yesterday, but the owner said someone else was doing the "Buy It Now" thing so I didn't go, but its still there today so maybe I will go tomorrow. It is only a couple hours away.

I bought it just befroe Christmas. I wanted to go pick it up today but the seller is out of town. It should be a good project . It will be my first Seacraft. I have been looking for one for a long time. Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

BA17, congrats! The only recomendations I could make are, close the transom and put a Hermco bracket on. All the other info about restoring it can be found searching this site. If you do it right the boat will last you a life time and become your obsession.

Cheers.

Thanks,

I read all about the Hermco bracket earlier and wrote down the number to call tomorrow. That looks like the way to go. Any suggestions on where to find a console? The one on the boat is one off of a bay stealth bay boat. Thanks again. I will try to get some pics up soon.

That console on there now looks pretty good minus the windshield. I would just take the windshield off and put a more flatter one on. I like the idea that it has the baitwell in it.

Like I posted earlier, this is my first 20' SeaCraft. I have some ideas and may need someone to talk me off of the ledge. My wish list is this: Hermco bracket with 200 HPDI yamaha, 50 gal leaning post livewell, new console, and 100+ gall fuel tank. Is this possible or will I need to begin to think realistically? Thanks for the input.
