Default ? 75 seafari

I am looking at a 75 20ft seafari. The hull is very clean looks like it was well maintained. There are no soft spots, transom solid. Needs new cushion rails on inside, teak needs cleaned and maybe some replaced and a little TLC. The engine is a 1994 175 evinrude w/ low hours on a J bracket. How much do you think it is worth. They are asking $6,000.

I have a 1971 Seafari. I'll be in Stuart/Jupiter until Saturday PM, Feb. 19th. I'd be pleased to look at it with you and offer my opinion. Contact me via email or via cell at 585-414-7183.

huffy,
Based on your description, $6K sounds like a very reasonable price. If there's a decent trailer included, then it's a good deal.

Otto,
Maybe you should get Mark and Chuck to tag along with you and you can tag-team the seller. Maybe a little CSC intimidation.

I used to have a 23 76 sceptre and are very familer w/ seacraft. I have been many places looking for one. I really want a sceptre but can't seem to find one in my price range. This is in great/ excellent shape compared to alot of them I have seen. The man happens to be a neighbor and knows we have been looking to replace ours. How do they ride to a secptre? I know I am 3 ft shorter and that makes a difference.
