Gee it's seem so long since I've been on the water. I think around 35mph. As for the prop I do need to go to the boat yard and look for myself. I am presenty running a SS prop but I need to buy a Alium. Lots of rocks down my way. Perhaps you or someone can make a recomindation. CHAZ

Chaz,
The 225 Yam on my father's Sceptre is turning a Yam 15x15 SS, which gives the boat a great hole shot, 27-28mph @ 4300rpm, and a WOT of 38-39mph @ 5500rpm. He's also got the engine mounted on a manual jack plate with a 6" setback. If you're really concerned with hitting rocks and you do mostly trolling, probably go with an aluminum prop. You're going to get some better performance out of an SS prop, but they are expensive if you bang one up.

Sweet looking ride Chaz.. I must say I like the Fishing tower on her, and that the back legs go to the floor rather then the gunnels.
