Default New Boat

I have had a 25 cc for 3 years now and love it. I had a 23 for years when was younger. I am still impressed with the 25's ride I can run with most 30 footers no problem. That being said I wish my boat was about 5 feet longer with the same hull. I am not talking about the 32, I mean the same design as the 25 just 30 feet long. My question is, is this a viable design if someone were to build it. Seacraft missed the mark by not making this boat a 27 to 30 footer. I would love to see a Seacraft type hull with the finish of Venture or Contender or SeaVee.

Ha Seasport
Ya I agree with you. I have always thought the 25 should be a 27-29’ boat with the 8 1/2’ beam. I think the beam to length would not cause any problems in the 27-29 length and the ride probably would be even better due to its stretch over to the next wave instead of dipping down and plowing into the next wave. Twin 200 or 225 plus a above the deck live well and that would be one sweet boat. Still small enough to trailer and yet big enough to go anywhere in any seas. To bad we don’t own the company if it were up to me I would STOP BUILDING THE 25 AND INTRODUCE THE NEW 28’ CC A.S.A.P.
