First - my thanks to this website, and to the posters here -

You all played a pretty decent part, unknowing, in my recent purchase of a '73 Sea Craft Seafari 20. This is my 5th boat, having gone up thru several trailerables before, then a 25 I kept at a dock on Lake Winnepesauki, now back to trailerable, and sea capable. I wasn't directly familiar with the Sea Craft name, but heard nothing but raves from boater friends, and what I see here pretty well confirms that.

So, a 20 ft Seafari, red hull, outboard, 115 Evinrude, needs some minor cosmetics, badly needs a buff job on the hull, but otherwise quite sound. A one owner boat, now elderly gent bought it new, took good care of it, repowered it once, and now, sad to say, too infirm to continue using it. Guy was an avid fisherman, a good use to continue putting this boat to.

Looking forward to wetting her soon, gotta get some basic trailer work done, first.

So hello to all you, thanks, and expect I'll be looking for some good recommendations on restoring the hull finish - I think it's not so bad it won't buff out - with the right stuff..... any thoughts ?
