Default serial numbers

The serial number on my 18ft cc begins SIC F followed by the number, the previous owner said the boat was a 1985 model, does this match up?

SIC is "SeaCraft Industries Corp" The last (2) digits of the hull number will give you the manufactured year. 1985 sounds about right
