Default t-top to doghouse conversion

Any body ever gone from a t-top to a doghouse. I just purchased an inboard currently with an old t-top on it. I want to build a doghouse for her. I don't know if this is a problem or not, but she is an inboard. I would like to use the current console and add on a doghouse. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to do this, or if it would be too much of a pain, and not as structurally sound. Or should I just build a whole new console/doghouse? Thanks for any ideas.

well, not sure about the doghouse but i made a phone booth for mine- i have a 3 speed heater running off the heat exchanger and i plan on completing the enclosure maybe this winter. i know it doesnt get near as cold here as it does up there so i dont know if that would do you any good. the heater kicks butt and should heat the whole enclosure up fine. hi chance you can have a dog house by hinging it to lay down forward / and by cuttind off the aft of the console and reglassing it to the house you can keep the seacraft look on the console/ would make the lower part of the console to be removable for acess to the engine / the hard part would be locking the house down to the deck
