Default Overboard drain for center storage compartment

It has always bothered me that the very large under deck compartment between the console and casting platform of my 1975 Seacraft drains into the bilge. Anyone figure out how to drain it overboard without inviting a sinking?

As you already know it is below the water line you will need to pump it up and out. There are hose "races" on either side of the hull. The "race" openings are under the console deck and in the Port and Star stringer. Since the bottom of the fish box is so low in the bilge, and the pumpout hose would have to go up the hull side, you're going to have a bit of residual water in the hose. Not the greatest situation. You could also use a shower sump set up if it was only rain/washdown water. It would still need to be low in the bilge to completely drain the compartment.
