Re: total cost to have bracket installed
Give us more info---Is your boat an i/o? Do you need custom livewell work, how are your floors?, paint inside, outside or both?, do you need a bottom job?, how about new fuel tank?, rod holders, pop up cleats and light? All these factors go into pricing and also if you live up north its going to cost you more.

Re: total cost to have bracket installed
the boat has a 200 merc outboard on the back, the floor seems to be in good shape and i would like a nice live well on the transom the bottom is fine i want the whole boat to look as sharp as possible so i would want the whole boat painted inside and out and i also want the instrument panel replaced not the insrtuments they are fine

Re: total cost to have bracket installed
Boy that’s a hard one. Partly because we don’t really have enough details. But lets guess some.
1 Bracket the best not installed $3,500 + $1,000 for someone to drill re wire and install your motor IF not to much to do. 2. Painting the boat back again the best – Awlgrip sprayed 3 coats plus primer and little or no prep work in and out $5,000 to $6,000. 3. Building a custom live well and intergrading it into the transom above deck type with scoop and pump and such. $2,000 4. Panel replaced $1,000 or so If you do all the work Bracket still $3,500 Painting $1,000 Live well with fabrication $ 400 Panel $ 200 Beer costs $ 100 + 20 days of work for one person. _________ $5,200.00 FellowShip |

Re: total cost to have bracket installed
Hi captkev. I'm brand new to this site. I'm looking at the exact same boat you have. I have been told by a number of people that I should be careful as to what year Sea Craft I buy. They say that when Sea Craft was going through it's troubles that the quality was less than perfect. Does any one know what period that was or if it's even true? I would appreciate any info on this subject. Also how do you like your boat? How fast is it with the 200 merc? I live on Long Island also, I'd love to pick your brain sometime, If you like you could email me at: sgj1021@optonline.net, and I'll send you my phone number, or i could call you. I sure can use all the help I can get to help me with this decission.
Thanks in advance for all your help! |

Re: total cost to have bracket installed
Hermco is a member on this site. I'm sure he will get back to you .
He also works with someone who has a “tad bit” of knowledge regarding SeaCrafts and a certain bracket Good luck !! Up in the northeast to have that much done to the boat ... you better have "paddles" ready to shock your heart back to life after the quote!! |
