???

do you have pictures?

in 1974 the only models were as follows:

18SF, 20SF, 20 SeaFari, 20 Sceptre/Tsunami, 23SF, 23 Sceptre/Tsunami, 25 SeaFari.

Never heard of a "Starman"

That boat is a Savage or a redone Sceptre. Total speculation here on if its a "better ride"….but with the cuddy cabin you add more weight forward. That will help to deaden the ride, keeps the bow in “it”. I think the console is in the same location as a regular CC ….if its further aft then the operator would feel a smoother ride. Remember when running the boat the pivot point is around the transom …the closer to the transom you are the softer the ride.

I think that answers it

The first offical Savage came out in 1976 so it must be a Tsunami/Sceptre with a console added (if someone already said this in another thread, sorry)

I agree with Scott. The additional weight forward is going to soften the ride even more than the traditional CC.

"Starman"?? I wonder where the owner came up with that name.

I think it’s a pre savage double secret probationary prototype “savage” ... CSC collectors here's your chance

Kidding aside ... Sceptre redo, Savage “look alike” or "starman" ... They did a nice job on it!!
