Default 1975 20 ft seacraft cc

First time posting, long time seacraft fanatic. I restored a 1973 20 ft cc about 5 years ago and what was my dream came true. Its the boat Ive always wanted and 5 years later I am doing nothing but enjoying it. The reason I'm posting is to tell anyone interested I picked up another 20 footer that I can not restore and if any one is interested in this vessel please contact me. I purchased this vessel for $250 from a dealer in key Largo the vessel has no title. this is just a hull, floor and transom need to be redone. I am not selling this vessel. who ever wants it can just pick it up. I can be contacted by email, nauticair@netscape.net
thank you and I will try to post some pix once I learn how to. Thanks again, Jay Suro

Very cool of you to pass along a free project boat to someone, I hope somebody fixes it up and gets some use out of it.

I think you will be required to apply for a "certificate of origination". I don't know about Fl, but in NY you can go to the DMV and get a certificate of origination, fix the boat, and use the certificate as a title to register it. If the person your getting it from can vouch for authenticity of ownership or at lease claim title, then its super easy. The only caveat is that it won't read Sea Craft, Bayliner, Grady White or whatever make the boat is....it will read HOME BUILT.
