Default differnces in inner liners

In seeing all the amazing jobs that others have done on their 20's I have a question.

My 71 20cc is different than most I have see here.

Most here have the raised forward deck which among other things provides storage.

Mine is just flush similar to the pics I have see on the new 20cc's.

I know the prior owner reworked the boat, but did he cut out the forward deck or was this something that was done by the factory?

I would really like to have the forward rasied deck but I quess I'm happy to have a seacraft.

And I have begun to buy and store different items needed to redo mine and have managed to keep it out of site of the wife
